The Fair Work Commission (FWC) is conducting a review, of its own motion, of all awards that contain minimum rates of pay that are lower than the C13 rate (i.e. the C14 rate, or a rate that is between the C14 and C13 level) (Review). Currently, the C13 rate is $23.23 per hour. The Review may result in the FWC increasing such wage rates and / or imposing a limit on the period over which an employee can be classified at the C14 level.
