In an ideal world, all employee performance reviews would be positive and an enjoyable experience. Reviews can be extremely rewarding and engaging, however they can also be stressful and uncomfortable. It is important that leaders have the courage to deliver authentic feedback, even when they know it will not be received well. It is tempting to avoid or play down negative feedback in anticipation of an employee responding poorly, however avoiding challenging feedback does not help the employee or the business.

This resource is designed to provide some practical tips to effectively manage a difficult employee review.
