The Australian Industry Group Australian Performance of Services Index (Australian PSI®) rose by 1.9 points to 47.6 points (seasonally adjusted) in October 2021. This marked a third month in decline (albeit at an easing pace) in 2021, following a strong recovery in conditions earlier in the year. Results below 50 points indicate contraction in the Australian PSI®, with
lower numbers indicating a stronger contraction.
