The biggest change in 50 years to Victoria’s environment protection laws came into effect on Thursday, 1 July 2021. Ai Group partnered with the Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) to provide training, learning, and guidance materials which included critical information about risk management for businesses and the duties under the new environment protection laws for Victorian businesses.
The new environmental laws and regulations will require companies to reduce the risk to human health and environmental harm from their activities. There are significant changes to previous arrangements, and they may have substantial impacts on individual businesses.
As part of the Industry Partnership Program, the EPA is also providing Ai Group members with exclusive access to its online learning materials on the new environment protection laws. These are available until Thursday 11 November 2021.
