This video focuses on the changes around multi-employer bargaining made under the ‘Secure Jobs Better Pay’ amendments to the Fair Work Act. This is bargaining where multiple employers – and their employees – will be covered under the same enterprise agreement.  The Fair Work Act has always enabled multi-employer bargaining in certain circumstances; however, the changes now create additional avenues for multi-employer bargaining.

There are now three different types of multi-employer bargaining and this video provides an overview of each in turn. These are:

    • Single-interest employer agreements;
    • Supported bargaining employer agreements; and
    • Co-operative workplace agreements.
