When an employee is absent from work because they are required to attend jury service, the NES provide a basic entitlement to 10 days of pay. This entitlement can be supplemented by a more beneficial entitlement under state and territory legislation, a modern award, or enterprise agreement. This document provides a summary of the entitlements that apply for jury service across each state and territory.
