The Victorian Government began the roll out of the COVID-19 vaccine in February 2021. Given the ramifications of this for Ai Group members, it was important for businesses to gain an early understanding of the potential implications.
Ai Group was involved in discussions with both the Federal and Victorian Governments regarding the appropriate roll-out of the vaccine into the community and the impact on business. For the benefit of our members, we arranged a Webinar with the Officer in charge of the COVID-19 vaccine procedures in Victoria, Professor Ben Cowie.
This was a valuable opportunity for members to learn first hand about the vaccine, its distribution to the public and other COVID-19 initiatives being considered by the Chief Health Officer and his colleagues.
