Just in case we need to add a WYSIWYG block to every page. We can hide this in the meantime.

Rapid antigen testing – as opposed to laboratory-based testing – is already an alternative to mandatory vaccinations in the construction industry in NSW and for those workers travelling outside of the areas of concern. This raises many questions, including:

  • who can conduct such tests?
  • how effective are the tests? and
  • how should employers respond to a positive COVID result?

In this webinar we looked at how rapid antigen testing can be used in workplaces, what restrictions apply and how these tests can be used to keep people working and businesses operating.

Our panel included:

  • Adjunct Prof John Skerritt, Deputy Secretary for Health Products Regulation, Department of Health
  • Simone Robinson, Head of Operations, Hough Pharma (Supplier of TGA approved rapid 'point of care' tests)
  • Stephen Smith, Head of National Workplace Relations Policy, Ai Group
