The Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work Amendment Instrument 2022 (Code Amendment Instrument) came into operation on 26 July 2022. The Code Amendment Instrument repealed most of the provisions of the Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work (Building Code 2016).
The remaining provisions in the Building Code 2016 apply to businesses (and their related entities) from the first time they express an interest or tender for Federal Government building work from 26 July 2022.
