Victorian Government’s Response to the Ministerial Taskforce on Workplace Sexual Harassment
The Victorian Government established a Ministerial Taskforce on Workplace Sexual Harassment in March last year. The Taskforce was charged with developing reforms to better prevent and respond to sexual harassment in workplaces.
The Taskforce made 26 recommendations and on 11 July 2022, the Victorian Government announced that it has accepted the primary recommendation that work-related gendered violence and workplace sexual harassment are to be treated as Work Health and Safety issues.
