The Fair Work Commission (FWC) has extended the operation of Schedule X—Additional Measures During the COVID-19 Pandemic, until 30 June 2022, in 73 awards.
Schedule X provides an entitlement to unpaid pandemic leave.
Schedule X has also included an entitlement for an employee to take twice as much annual leave at half pay, by agreement with the employer. The FWC has decided that this annual leave flexibility will not be extended and consequently the relevant provisions only operate until 31 December 2021.
