As skills shortages increase and staff retention becomes critical, ensuring managers and supervisors have high levels of Emotional Intelligence is more important than ever.

Research by Gallup shows that the number one reason why people stay or leave an organisation is the quality of the relationship with their immediate supervisor with low EQ leaders tending to have higher turnover, lower engagement, and lower productivity in their teams.

Fortunately, emotional intelligence can be developed and improved upon, unlike IQ and personality which are essentially fixed from an early age.

This one day workshop, using the internationally renowned Roche Martin Emotional Capital Report (ECR) questionnaire, will help managers and supervisors to become better leaders by assessing their 10 Leadership EQ Competencies and teaching them how to:

  • Manage the behaviours that hold them back from optimal leadership
  • Understand the key strategies for building work relationships and helping them to answer the question all leaders face “Why should anyone be led by you?”
  • Develop more effective communication and influencing skills for managing up and down the organisation.
  • Gain mastery over the one skill (EQ) that research has identified as the most consistent predictor of success in the workplace

This workshop includes a Roche Martin Emotional Capital (ECR) Self-Assessment Report to be completed prior to workshop and delivers scores on the 10 Emotional Intelligence skills that research has found to be linked to professional performance.
