The Ai Group Centre for Education and Training invites members to participate in a consultation workshop with the Australian Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) on the Commonwealth Government’s Qualifications Reform, which was covered by the Centre in a webinar in November [view here] last year.

The workshop with DEWR will discuss this reform work, with a focus initially on what makes make a high functioning VET qualification system.

This discussion will be held via Microsoft Teams on Wednesday, 15 March at 11am (AEDT). If you wish to be part of this event, please contact Paolo Damante via CET@aigroup.com.au to register your details and the link to the meeting will be sent to you.

Qualifications Reform seeks to build upon the strengths of the existing VET system to ensure that Australia has a VET system that is fit-for-purpose, efficient, effective and easy to navigate, with a focus on transferable and relevant skills that enable learners to get jobs and upskill and reskill throughout their careers. The Qualification Reform website is the best source of information relating to activities and updates. You can find information on the proposed model for VET qualification and provide feedback on it via an online survey.
