This half-day program is designed to ensure that your managers and supervisors understand the effects of discrimination, harassment and bullying in the workplace and their important role in maintaining an appropriate workplace culture, undertaking effective complaint handling and ensuring legal compliance.
This highly interactive program is case study-based and requires your participants to engage with your Company policies to identify the types of behaviour that are unlawful in the workplace. Practical examples of discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment, bullying, vilification and victimisation are discussed to ensure participants understand the range of behaviours that are not acceptable at work. Participants also consider behaviour which is acceptable, such as reasonable management action.

This one-day program outlines the steps that can be taken to assist an employee in meeting expected performance standards. This program will be tailored to fulfil the obligations of the Enforceable Undertaking provided to the Fair Work Ombudsman to address 'compliance with Commonwealth workplace laws and instruments'.
The Fair Work Ombudsman and OHS/WHS Regulators have powers to enter, inspect, investigate and prosecute your business. Understand the rights and responsibilities for all involved so that, if a workplace regulator knocks on your door, you can handle the call lawfully and effectively.

Industrial Relations

This half-day seminar will ensure employers are up to date with the latest developments and decisions in preparation for their next round of bargaining.
Our training program enables employee bargaining representatives to understand the legal framework in which bargaining must take place, recognising good faith bargaining requirements, determining the role and responsibilities of bargaining representatives in the bargaining process and outlining the bargaining process and how negotiations are conducted in the workplace.
This one-day program will explain the role of unions, in addition to practical strategies for achieving and managing effective relationships with unions. Ai Group will also explore strategies of how to manage common industrial relations issues, whilst complying with the Fair Work Act.
The Building and Construction Industry (Fair and Lawful Building Sites) Code 2014 was published by the Federal Government on 17 April 2014. It is essential that businesses in the Construction Industry understand the new requirements and how to apply the Code in their workplace. This program is designed for managers and other professionals in the Construction Industry or related industries who have had little or no experience with Construction Code compliance.
This one-day program is intended for those who are considering or planning the implementation of competency standards and who would like to know how they work, and for management and employees who will be involved in implementing competency standards in the workplace. It meets the requirements of Clause 24.3 (b)(iv) of the Manufacturing and Associated Industries and Occupations Award 2010 and is also required by MSA (Manufacturing Skills Australia) for registration as an industry assessor.
