Ai Group comment: COAG Energy Ministers' meeting
"We’ve been encouraged today to see the Commonwealth and the States working well together and grasping the nettle on some of the tough issues through the COAG Energy Council. Casual employment case scheduled to conclude today
"Ai Group has today presented its final oral submissions in the long-running Casual and Part-time Employment Case, urging the Fair Work Commission (FWC) to decisively reject the unions' claims. The case is scheduled to conclude late this afternoon after all the final oral submissions have been heard. The five-Member Full Bench of the FWC is likely to hand down its decision later this year," Innes Willox, Ai Group Chief Executive said today.

SA power hike will go national without COAG action
"South Australia's energy woes will go national unless the COAG Energy Council follows through on difficult reforms to increase gas supply, reward demand response, and build a more flexible and connected electricity market," Ai Group Chief Executive Innes Willox said today.

PMI

The Australian Performance of Manufacturing Index demonstrates performance across a number of manufacturing sectors. Participate in the survey to improve our representation of Australian businesses in manufacturing.
