This Member Advice consolidates information in relation to restrictions on business operations and required COVID-19 risk controls in Victoria.

With effect from 11.59pm on 26 February 2021, restrictions in Victorian were further eased. Workplaces are allowed to have 75% of employees (or 30 people, whichever is greater) in an office.

Unless an exception applies, face coverings must be worn:

  • while on public transport;
  • in taxis or rideshare vehicles;
  • at hospitals and care facilities; or
  • at shopping centres and large retail stores such as supermarkets.

Workers who are required to isolate or quarantine due to COVID-19 may be entitled to receive hardship payments.
