The amendments to the Fair Work Act 2009 introduced major changes to rights for delegates and unions, including in relation to right of entry. This workshop is designed to provide an understanding of delegate and union rights in the workplace and employer obligations regarding this.

The practical workshops will be structured to ensure participants have the knowledge to manage these requirements and union relationships more broadly. They will equip members to:

  • identify the key obligations for companies regarding the rights of delegates and unions;
  • assess the effectiveness of their current workplace culture given this context; and
  • implement strategies for managing these relationships more effectively.

The 3-hour workshop will include a presentation on recent regulatory changes and related proceedings in the Fair Work Commission, as well interactive activities. It will also provide opportunities to work with your peers from other organisations.

In order to maximise participation and learnings, each workshop will have a maximum capacity of 36 attendees.

Please note: Due to a limited capacity for these events, tickets will be limited to a maximum of 2 attendees from each company.
