Engaging with people is my passion.
I believe, as successful leaders, buried deep in our DNA is the ability to show empathy and a strong Emotional Intelligence to engage with and get the best out of people. This is our role and I don’t just believe this; I have lived and breathed it throughout my career.
I attribute this outlook to my leadership team’s achievement of Best Employer status in Australia and New Zealand for three years in a row.
As a testament to this I was also engaged on a speaking tour for MD’s CEO’s, HR Managers and Directors on how it was achieved. Each forum was self-titled “Engagement as an emotional State”.
