A Health & Safety Policy is the management’s commitment to improving safety performance and outlines the vision to meeting the organisations safety objectives. 

This policy should reflect the culture of the organisation and its values and be specific to the business in relation to the nature and scale of the risks.  A policy alone does not satisfy legal compliance.  Safety processes must be in place, communicated and operational to ensure legal obligations are met and complied. 

This policy is a sample only. Employers should seek advice from the Ai Group in developing a policy to the particular needs of the organisation.
