This checklist should be completed by the employees applying to work from home and should be reviewed by their immediate manager prior to the employee commencing a working from home arrangement to determine if the working from home area is appropriate and or if any equipment or furniture is required.
It is important to remember that breaks and movement are also key to reducing the risk of injury. Where possible workers should incorporate micro and longer breaks by stretching, getting up to get a drink of water, walking outside etc. They should also take the opportunity where possible to have lunch and scheduled breaks away from their desk to give their body a rest from the same posture and repetitive actions.
