The Resignation policy is designed to provide guidance to employees and leaders when there is an intention to voluntarily separate from an organisation. It ensures that there is a consistent approach and that both the employee and the employer are aware of their obligations.
This policy is a sample only and should be tailored to support the specific needs of an organisation with consideration to the industrial instruments such as awards, Enterprise Agreements and contracts of employment.
Employee requirements for resignation will vary based on employment status (e.g. casual or permanent) and the relevant underpinning agreement.
This policy is a sample only. Employers should seek advice from Ai Group in tailoring this policy to the needs of the organisation by calling the Ai Group Workplace Advice Line on 1300 55 66 77.
