The manufacturing sector in Queensland is leading the way for the State’s post-COVID-19 economic recovery. We are seeing increasing demand for new technologies, new skills, and new and effective strategies in business to assist with achieving greater workforce diversification and equality to support further innovation and growth in the sector.

We invite you to join us for our fifth year of recognising the opportunities and important contribution that women make to Queensland manufacturing. We will explore how local manufacturers are achieving business success through their strategies to retain and attract women into their workforce.

Facilitated by Mel Ireland, Policy and Project Lead from Ai Group, our panelist include:

  • Moira Harris, Chief Executive Officer at Everhard Industries
  • Juliano Sabatke, Vice President GTO International Manufacturing at Volvo Australia
  • Sheree Taylor, Queensland Specification Manager at Bluescope Steel
  • Rob Walters, General Manager at GM Poles Pty Ltd

PLEASE NOTE: all COVID-19 restrictions will be strictly adhered to.

This event is brought to you by the Queensland Government in partnership with Ai Group.
