When employment is coming to an end either through resignation or termination, it is important to ensure that any loose ends are tied up prior to the employee’s departure. There will often be enough time for this process to occur, however certain events may make this difficult such as instant dismissal, or resignation where the employee has failed to give notice. This checklist can be used by employers to help them conduct an efficient exit process when an employee leaves the organisation.
This checklist is intended to be generic but if there are any items that are company specific, please add them to this list.
