The Australian Bureau of Statistics 2012 Employee Earnings and Hours Survey indicate that 34.3 per cent of non-managerial employees are covered by federally registered enterprise agreements (EAs). In addition, in some organisations, the scope of coverage of an enterprise agreement covers managerial staff.  This creates the need for many organisations to consider what part enterprise bargaining has in its remuneration policy.
