Performance planning involves the setting of individual performance and development plans, including agreement on performance measures, to form a Performance Development Plan.

The performance development plan will confirm the organisation’s core values and objectives in order to channel individual efforts, clarify role requirements and core capabilities, set objectives and goals and reach agreement on performance measures and targets, including how these will be met.
