The Workforce Action Plan Form may be used to identify key development issues identified in workforce planning and translate that to actions and outcomes with a clear line of sign between issue – actions - outcomes – responsibility – deliverables – and resources required. The issues identified in the Workforce Planning Template and Training Needs Analysis along with the results of other analysis and information  can be translated to this form.

Once completed the form can comprise the key section of the organisations broader Workforce Action Plan (a comprehensive document that may also include Vision and Mission,  key points from a Business/Strategic Plan, executive summary of the strategic direction and challenges etc. )

Alternatively in smaller organisations, the information provided in this form may suffice.
