Stirling Tavener is the founder of Anson Advisory, a business and agribusiness consultancy firm specialising in financial and business development services, assisting operators to analyse their existing business and make improvements where required to increase management and financial performance for a wide range of businesses.
Stirling also provides Director/Chairman type services for organisations requiring better governance operations, where multiple owners may exist and improved decision making procedures are required. Leadership and communication skills are essential to quickly engage, build relationships and lead stakeholders through the complex web of contemporary business.
Stirling is an accomplished manager with extensive experience in business and agribusiness management, project management, business efficiency optimisation, financial analysis and is a very successful grant writer. Developing strategies based on detailed financial projections is a specialty, allowing grant or bank applications to be developed or even Investment Memorandums when trying to raise capital from external investors.
Degrees in Business (Finance and Accounting), Science and Agricultural Science, accompanied by qualifications from the Institute of Managers & Leaders as a Chartered Manager and from the Australian Institute of Company Directors in governance. Other qualifications in management, including project management, environmental auditing, Cert IV Trainer Assessor, and practical skills across a range of industries. Stirling has and is continuing to establish multiple innovative Start-Up companies.
Stirling also holds multiple directorships for domestic and international companies.
