With almost 30 years’ experience in International Trade Mark has both the practical and academic skills needed to teach exporters and importers about being street-wise when conducting their international trade and transport. Mark owns an international freight forwarding and customs broking business at Melbourne Airport with offices around Australia, a company that is one of the largest suppliers of plastic pallets into the Australian market and also has a very successful lecturing business which sees him traversing all over Australia.
Mark worked in international banking prior to becoming an international freight forwarder and has been lecturing on this subject for the last 17 years. He publishes regular newsletters on subjects of international trade, transport, banking and letter of credit issues, and is a member of several committees that study and advise on ways of improving international trade conditions and reducing fraud in trade.
Mark was also on the Australian Banking committee for the reversion of the UCP600 being the rules the govern Letter of Credits (LC).
