Gabor’s mission is to bring the same level of leadership, management know-how and operational capabilities to high growth-potential SMEs as enjoyed by large corporates. His C-level operational experience spans over 26 years, and in the past 13 years he has guided over 900SMEs to build capabilities, capacity, and connections to build resilience, increase management control and to profit from growth opportunities.
Gabor’s role is to facilitate the growth aspirations of small to medium size businesses to build new competencies and capabilities, increase resilience and improve profitability through innovate business models. He provides on-going free and independent business advice and mentoring, connecting businesses with management expertise and matched grant funding as part of the Entrepreneurs' Programme.
Gabor held various senior management positions within the Food and Agribusiness sectors including Arnott’s Biscuits, Kailis & France and McWilliam’s Wines culminating in General Manager of Palandri Wines – a $30million p.a. ASX listed international wine business with global distribution.
Gabor has extensive expertise and experience in business design and strategy; growing revenue, developing and managing international markets; operational and management excellence; new product/service development; and organisational change.
His hands-on experience is complemented by formal qualifications including MBA, Bachelor of Business (Marketing & IT), Exec Cert. in Design Thinking (MIT Sloan Business School) and the AICD Company Directors Course. Gabor is a Certified Practicing Marketer and a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute, an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
The Entrepreneurs' Programme provides eligible SMEs with free expert advice and grant funding to improve business growth and competitiveness, solve R&D and technology needs and improve capability to participate in domestic and global supply chains.
