Grant Peden is a Business Facilitator with Ai Group delivering business improvement and industry development projects through AusIndustry’s Entrepreneurs’ Programme, where he is also a Growth Services Adviser working with high growth potential companies to help them grow and become globally competitive.
Prior to joining the Entrepreneurs’ Programme, Grant was the Global Supply Chain Program Manager at global technology company Thales, where he worked with Australian companies to help them enter global supply chains. Prior to this, he was Divisional Marketing Manager for Thales Australia Land and Joint Systems Division, and Global Marketing and Sales Manager for Hawkei, where he also led the program’s industry engagement activities.
Grant has extensive expertise and experience in market intelligence, business strategy, leadership and organisational change. He uses his strong industry networks to facilitate the formation of strategic relationships and partnerships between businesses.
Grant previously worked in management consulting as a trusted advisor to blue-chip clients. During this time, he honed his strong analytical, client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills delivering business strategy, corporate strategy and marketing strategy projects. Earlier in his career he worked in venture capital, where he worked with high-potential early-stage companies to help them commercialise IP and accelerate growth.
Grant’s formal qualifications include full-time MBA and Master of Marketing degrees from Melbourne Business School, as well as a Master’s degree in ethics from the University of Glasgow.
The Entrepreneurs' Programme provides eligible SMEs with free expert advice and grant funding to improve business growth and competitiveness, solve R&D and technology needs and improve capability to participate in domestic and global supply chains.
