"Given the widespread and ongoing impact from devastating bushfires, we are making Ai Group 'member only' advices on related workplace issues freely available," Ai Group Chief Executive, Innes Willox, said today.
"The document linked below contains advice such as dealing with work absences related to fires and smoke and volunteer policies and links to government agencies including for financial support.
"We are participating in the Peak Body Bushfire Recovery Council which has been created under the new National Bushfire Recovery Agency. The Agency has been tasked with advising the Federal Government on effective responses to coordination of efforts in recovery following the fires (which are far from over) and in building greater resilience in the future. We are also identifying any members who may be affected by the fires and offering them support," Mr Willox said.
