Skills and workforce shortages are having a significant impact on businesses across Australia.

Our June webinar focused on the big picture of how skills and workforce shortages are impacting businesses, both nationwide and across regions. It highlighted that a key priority for the incoming Federal Government must be to address chronic skills and labour shortages, in partnership with industry and a broad range of other stakeholders.

This is the second in a series of two webinars on this topic. It will go deeper on these issues, based on the direct experiences and perspectives of businesses that are dealing with these issues on a daily basis. Each of these businesses highlighted:

  • How skills and workforce shortages are impacting the operations of their business
  • How they are minimising the impacts of these shortages and their advice to other businesses facing similar challenges
  • The steps that governments and the education and training system can take to address these shortages.
