On 28 November 2022, the Australian Parliament passed the Anti-Discrimination and Human Rights Legislation (Respect@Work) Bill 2022 (Respect@Work Amendments). The Bill will commence the day after it receives Royal Assent by the Governor- General. This is expected to occur shortly.

The Respect@Work Amendments will impact how employers prevent and respond to workplace sexual harassment.
