According to Safe Work Australia (Notified Fatalities Statistical Report 2010-2011), incidents related to plant and machinery contribute to a significant proportion of workplace deaths in Australia. 

While safety statistics related to plant and machinery have improved in recent years, machine guarding failures continue to cause serious injury. Your training will be run by expect electrical engineer, Roger Lim who specialises in plant safety and risk assessment.

  • Design Considerations - Safety Control Systems;
  • General Requirements for Guarding and Anthropometric Data;
  • Principles for Design and Selection of Interlocking Devices; and
