New jobs report provides useful industry and occupational profiles

In February the National Careers Institute released Australian Jobs 2022. In its aim to assist job seekers and career advisers on labour market issues, it provides useful information for a broader audience, such as:

• a national overview of recent labour market developments
• jobs by location and by industry
• jobs by occupation, including workforce and employment profiles, educational attainment and projected employment
• state by state profiles
• skills emerging in the workforce and the types of skills that can be transferred between different occupations.

Jobs and Skills Australia provided significant analysis to ensure the report functions as a single source of information on industries, occupations and local labour markets.
