The Australian Universities Accord Panel is now calling for stakeholders to provide their views about Australia’s higher education system. Employers are the end users of the system, so it is critical that your views are included.
A discussion paper has been released to support the review, with commentary about the key issues and a host of questions (49) they are looking for comment on. These range from the broad, like long term targets and the potential structure of an Accord, to the specific, such as how to organise work-integrated learning and how to ensure graduates have relevant skills for the workforce.
This is an opportunity to contribute to a review that is looking at the kind of higher education system Australia should have in two and three decades’ time. There are many questions but you are welcome to respond to as many or as few of the questions as you choose.
The discussion paper submission process will close on 11 April 2023. Ai Group Centre for Education and Training will be making a submission and has already commenced discussions with members about our response.
