The current state of restrictions in the ACT is as follows:

  • All gatherings can have up to 1000 people. Events between 501 and 1000 people are required to notify ACT Health and submit their COVID Safe plan. To hold gatherings greater than 1000, an exemption in accordance with the COVID Safe Event Protocol is required.
  • Where relevant, specific business categories are required to develop and follow a COVID Safety Plan.

Employees need not work from home, but workplaces should have a COVID-safe plan in place.
