Dealing with complaints 

Complaints of harassment, discrimination and bullying can be costly for employers in terms of disruption in the workplace through lost productivity, low morale, absenteeism and staff turnover quite apart from any legal fees and compensation payments associated with a substantiated complaint.

Harassment & Discrimination Awareness Online Learning Program 
As an employer, harassment and discrimination in your workplace can hold serious consequences for all parties involved - even you. Under equal opportunity laws, you can be legally liable for the actions of your employees - and your only defence is to demonstrate that you have taken responsible steps to prevent unlawful conduct from occurring.

Ai Group's Harassment & Discrimination Awareness Online Learning Program provides the information you need to implement appropriate policies and procedures that can be considered as reasonable steps in the prevention of harassment and discrimination in your workplace.  Ai Group has two versions of this program - one aimed towards industial workers and the other is aimed at corporate workers.

This online learning program will provide an overview of the law in relation to unlawful discrimination, harassment and bullying, inform you of the expected standard of behaviour, notify employees of their responsibilities in the workplace, provide an indication of the steps you need to take, if a person is subjected to inappropriate behaviour in the workplace and assess participant’s understanding of the key issues, on completion of the program via an online assessment.
