TradeStart

TradeStart is a Federal Government funded program that helps small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) become sustainable exporters. The program is available for Ai Group members and other eligible SMEs. TradeStart is not a grant scheme.  It provides SMEs with a flexible package of market research, counselling, training and practical support to help them achieve their first export sales and future success.

Services include:

• Evaluation of suitability of products/service for target markets
• Advice on financial and management requirements
• Guidance in preparing a detailed company brief to attract export business
• Advice on effective strategies for successful international marketing
• Advice on business conditions and practices in target markets individually arranging business meetings with prospective partners
• In-market counselling
• Evaluation of results and forward planning to ensure participants achieve maximum impact from their market exposure.
