CEO Survey tracks investment in new technologies An Ai Group-Deloitte survey of 540 CEOs across the Australian manufacturing, construction and services sectors has explored business investment in new technologies over the past three years. Close to 80% of respondents invested in new technologies in that timeframe, with 70% of those doing so with the goal of improving productivity. The report makes a number of suggestions for policy changes to build on this momentum and facilitate investment by a broader range of businesses. The survey also generated key findings with regard to the expectations of business concerning the Government's changed R&D Tax incentive, as well as the extent of business preparedness to take advantage of the emerging opportunities offered by the national broadband network (NBN).
