Technology Industry Development Council (TIDC)

The Mission of the Technology Industry Development Council is to represent and articulate the views of the broader Technology Industry and related sectors within Ai Group, and on their behalf, to advocate and aid the development of the sectors.

In serving its Mission, the Technology Industry Development Council undertakes a number of specific roles

• Support the development of the industry
• Represent the different elements of the industry 
• Champion industry sector issues and concerns 
• Provide advice and input to the Ai Group Executive 
• Contribute to the Technology Industry Sector Strategy 
• Support the development and coordination of industry clusters and forums

The Technology Industry Development Council performs these roles through its meetings and liaison with industry, government and academia, its interactions within Ai Group and its staff, and through the establishment and oversight of industry forums and clusters.
