Ai Group represents members' interests to government and conducts research to develop training solutions to the skills issues facing industry today.

We are represented on a broad range of government decision making bodies, making sure that the voice of industry is heard at all levels of Australia's vocational education and training system. In times of skills shortages, educating and training employees is crucial for all businesses. Ai Group's Education and Training Advisers  keep our members informed of developments in the National Training System, and help them to employ apprentices, trainees and cadets to address current and future skill needs.

Ai Group's training service AiGTS matches apprentices with employers. Not only can we help to employ an apprentice, or trainee but most importantly we can advise you on how to retain and manage them. See our informative Guide to Managing the First 100 Days of an Apprenticeship. Ai Group members can get free advice and assistance from Ai Group's MAS National Australian Apprenticeship Centre.

Ai Group has initiated a number of programs to foster the growth of Australia's future workforce, such as  Investing in young people, VET in Schools, Adopt a School program, and Careers Advice Australia.
